Branded
wood, brass, tobacco
2 X 10 X 8 in.
Continuing
"congratulations on your pregnancy" gift-giving campaign,
Billy gives Jake a box of cigars. But these aren't regular smokes,
they're Cubans.
This artwork appears to be a normal
cigar box. Upon closer inspection, one notices the box's brass hinges
are shaped like naval gunboats. The hinges are on all
4 sides of the box, making it impossible to open, a reference the
US embargo against Cuba. |

Target Audience
paper,

18" diameter
Does the average American woman enjoy watching
a good 'ol bar fight? When Nick instigates a brawl at Shooters, he
gets more than he bargained for. Not only does Nick get Kyle in hot
water with Taylor for engaging in such sophomoric behavior, but his
actions cause untold damage to Shooters.
When a patron gets thrown headfirst into the jukebox, you'll notice
the dart board hanging above. The shape surrounding the bull's-eye represents a woman's
head. And what numbers reside at the end of the two red fields emanating
from the woman's head? It's 18 and 49, which just so happens to Melrose
Place's key demographic: women ages 18-49. |
